Ten editions have been built by people who offered something before they were asked. There are three ways to do that this year, and one address for all of them.
UX Pakistan has no commercial owner. Sponsorship is what keeps student tickets affordable, brings speakers in from abroad, and keeps the programme free to say what it wants. Backing the tenth edition puts your name beside the institutions that carried the last nine.
Tiers from single-workshop support to headline partnership.
Branding across the edition site, stage and printed programme.
Direct access to the largest gathering of designers in the country.
A written account of where the money went, after the event.
The programme favours practitioners over keynote tourists. If you have shipped work, taught it, researched it or failed at it in public, there is a slot for that. Workshops run in parallel and are where most of the learning happens, so a hands-on session is as welcome as a talk.
Talks of 20 to 30 minutes, or half-day hands-on workshops.
First-time speakers are read as seriously as returning ones.
Send a title, three lines on the idea, and what you have made.
Sessions in Urdu are welcome alongside English.
Every edition has been held up by a team of volunteers, most of them students, many of whom went on to build careers in design. It is the closest view of how a conference is made, and the fastest way into the community that runs it.
Roles across programme, production, hospitality and media.
Open to students and early-career designers anywhere in Pakistan.
Full access to the conference and its workshops.
A named credit in the record of the edition.
Put sponsor, speak or volunteer in the subject line. A few lines about you is enough to start.
